Forget Hoops

The other day a woman came into the shop looking for a gift for a friend. "I am thinking: earrings," she said. "Do you know what style she likes?" I innocently inquired. "She likes big studs."



Before I could show her these Oregon Sunstone earrings, an older woman across the store perked up. She set down the pearls she was looking at and said, "Don't we all, darling?"
